The Rival d3o headgear has easily been the most comfortable one I've worn ever. Here's a short list of pros and cons and I'll go a little bit into a comparison later as well.PROS: 1. Suede interior lining. This headgear absolutely does not slip and slide around when you take a clean hit. 2. Superior shock absorbency. The padding is good enough that you'll still feel the punch (which is good since you still want to know that you took a hit), but even after eating several hits you won't feel like your brain took a beating. 3. Good peripheral vision. I have a clean view of everything to my sides. What my bother some people though is if you do a lot of looking up, you may find your vision obstructed. I'm a boxer so it doesn't bother me as much as say maybe an MMA guy, but again it's not terrible. CONS: 1. Price (kinda).
