Bought from Seller BP MEDICAL SUPPLIES. You're buying Quake Kare mylar emergency blankets, you'll get Ever Dixie aluminum non-stretch polyester rescue blankets. It's essentially the same thing, but that's not the point. The point is many sellers are substituting one brand for another on this product (just look at the reviews for the various Quake Kare emergency blanket items on Amazon). I'm probably not going to bother for a refund/exchange on such a low-cost item which is why they're getting away with it. An essential and very inexpensive emergency item for any thermal protection need. I have not personally used it yet but the package and label information is clear enough. Very easy to store for emergencies. Once you open it you will have to figure out what you are going to do about refolding and what to use to repack and save. DON'T just buy one because the shipping cost for 5 is probably the same as it is for one. They're cheap. Get more than one if you think you will want it for another outing or extras for other uses. If you live where it gets COLD then this should be packed in your cars' glove compartments. Use under a blanket for greater efficiency but not required. Pros: It claims you will receive 3 O-Rings and a wrek thread protector, I received 5 tank O-Rings and an aluminum Empire thread protector, much better than the cheap plastic ones, I was planning on buying an aluminum one anyway for the better protection. One big plus is that it has snaps all the way down the front of the coat with the last snap at the hem. I've looked high and low for a coat with that feature. However, I feel I have to be careful when unsnapping them because they are just attached on the thin inner and outer layers of the coat.It would have been better if there was some padding of some kind to make them more "sturdy". Also, I found the arms to be rather tight- wearing a medium to thick sweater underneath is uncomfortable but do-able. I bought a medium and I wear size 6-8. I wanted something that would keep me warm and would be stylish as well and this coat is it. The coat is long and lightweight with knit cuffs at the wrists to keep arms warm and closes snugly (but not too tightly) at the neck. The coat is slim fitting. I am a size 6 and ordered a medium which seems just right. Another nice feature is pockets that zip closed. The coat closes with both a zipper and snaps. The only problem I have is that it is difficult to zip the zipper without getting it caught on the lining which is annoying. Great coat, but can't somebody figure out how to design a zipper that zips easily and doesn't catch? I THINK WITH PRACTICE I'LL FIGURE OUT ITS QUIRKS, BUT AT THE MOMENT IT'S A STRUGGLE TO ZIP IT UP OR DOWN. THE GOOD NEWS IS I LOVE THIS COAT. IT FITS BEAUTIFULLY (I GOT A SMALL, 5'3" AND 110) AND THE COLOR IS GREAT (I GOT BROWN). THE FUR TRIM IS SOFT, AND THE COAT HAS A FITTED CUT THAT'S VERY FLATTERING. IT'S WARM, IT'S COMFORTABLE...NOW IF THEY'D JUST MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO ZIP IT UP WITHOUT FIVE MINUTES OF TROUBLE, IT WOULD BE PERFECT. Update: this coat gets easier to zip all the time. It's a question of threading the zipper properly, then avoiding the left-hand flap of material that tends to get inn the way. I wanted to add that I have gotten many, many compliments on this coat, especially the lovely, rich brown color, which is such a great change from the usual blacks and tans. It's very warm -- we just had a stretch of below zero with wind chill. I love this coat.
