I absolutely love dark chocolate. However it can be hard to find a really good dark chocolate product. Some products can be too bitter. However, Dove dark chocolate is the best that I have ever tasted. The chocolate is so smooth and has a taste of luxury. I have tasted expensive chocolates before but Dove has them beat. Just like my review title, it is a pure chocolate dream. Usually I find dark chocolate too rich (too dark?) to handle, but this one is smooth, creamy, and just really scrumptious.The individually packed bars make this an excellent treat to carry around-- i make sure I have one in my school bag all the time. it's so much yummier and healthier than buying a candy bar from the machine when a craving strikes! however, i'd caution EVERYONE to take care while eating this. for some reason, when it snaps (into the little squares.. i dont bite off the bar) small chocolate shards will fall onto your clothing, computer, books.. basically anything lying underneath. Oftentimes I've found a horrible chocolate smear on my shirt or jacket that really embarrasses the heck out of me. It's such an issue that i've just got to take one star off this yummy product. I found the same box of Dove dark chocolate bars at a local bulk warehouse store for 35% less and didn't have to pay the extraordinarily high shipping to boot which put this box at 100% more than what it costs to buy it locally. Go figure why this seller doesn't offer it thru Prime. The box of chocolate we bought from this seller arrived melted which caused everything to separate once it cooled. Do what I did and shop around... unless you live somewhere you have to buy it over the internet. |
