This product was a perfect fit. Though it is only 7 inches deep (which I knew before I ordered) it is plenty deep enough to store my canned goods and a few other things. Plus, you can also put a few things on the top, which acts as an extra shelf if you need it. I put my dog's treats on top up out of the way. I have it mounted on a small area of kitchen wall where my refrigerator door opens. Since it is not too deep, it has no effect on me being able to get my fridge door open wide enough to get what I need. The only thing that could possibly make this better is to include 2 adjustable shelves instead of one. The adjustable shelf included is a bit flimsy so I wouldn't put anything too heavy on it but otherwise it is sturdy enough.
