This jacket is all it says it is and worth every dollar. It's built to last with tough construction, light in weight so you don't feel like a stuffed sausage and enough zippered pockets for anything you want to carry, and has an attractive look.

I like the high collar for the really windy cold weather and it leaves enough room around your neck and chin so that it doesn't rub. It has a reverse double zipper which is convenient for warmer days.
The length is perfect, covers the butt but isn't too long so that it would interfere with a long walk. I also purchased the 300 polar fleece jacket which can be used for a liner on really cold days. The only thing that I was a little disappointed in is that the liner doesn't zip into the coat, you wear it as a layer. The way I read the description was that it fit the coat as a liner, but its a layer liner not a zip in liner.
