It's built to last with tough construction, light in weight so you don't feel like a stuffed sausage and enough zippered pockets for anything you want to carry, and has an attractive look.I like the high collar for the really windy cold weather and it leaves enough room around your neck and chin so that it doesn't rub. It has a reverse double zipper which is convenient for warmer days. The length is perfect, covers the butt but isn't too long so that it would interfere with a long walk. I also purchased the 300 polar fleece jacket which can be used for a liner on really cold days. The only thing that I was a little disappointed in is that the liner doesn't zip into the coat, you wear it as a layer. The way I read the description was that it fit the coat as a liner, but its a layer liner not a zip in liner. Overall this is the best rain jacket I've had.
