I just received and returned this cane. The product description was wrong - the cane's handle was not made of foam. Rather, it was made of hard, textured plastic and did not serve as a very effective or comfortable grip, especially given its weight. This cane weighs a ton! It is much too heavy for someone who already has difficulty walking unassisted.

OK, first off, like another reviewer pointed out, both the description, AND the tag on the actual cane is WRONG! The handle does NOT use a "Foam Handle" at ALL! - But rather, it is some form of hard plastic! Now, for my big hands, the handle IS a nice size, but I am not sure yet if I will be keeping or returning this. The lack of a "Foam Handle" *may* be a deal-breaker.

One thing, coming from an older "C" handle wood cane, this cane feels heavier! Possibly this can not be avoided (due to the 500lb weight limit), but am not sure that going from a 'regular' cane to a 'quad-cane' will be something I can get used to.

I got the usual great Amazon Service - it came fast, and there was no damage, and the price was right (NOTE: it was boxed inside a box - (looked like over-kill).

Due to the incorrect... Read more

Good product for a great price. Physical Therapist thought it was quite fancy and adjusted it for the correct height in about 10 seconds. Good buy.
