This is a nicely engineered product with three tempered glass shelves about 3/8" thick so they can hold some weight. The corner "posts" are brushed stainless with the top and bottom screw on pieces made of solid stainless so they are sturdy as are the threaded rods between sections. However, the hollow tubes that are visible and the top and bottom "caps" for each section are not quite heavy enough gauge for my taste - they work but the caps in particular look "cheap" - but the unit is not cheap.
